Our experienced nursing staff provides specialized wound care treatment that includes e-stim, diathermy, wound VAC therapy and dynamic pressure relief mattresses.

We have rigorous protocols in place to stimulate tissue growth and faster healing of existing wounds, and to prevent the development of new wounds or pressure sores. Our nurses change wound dressings frequently to maintain a clean and bacteria-free wound bed and encourage and assist our patients to turn as needed. We provide surface support that includes low pressure air loss mattresses, and special wheelchair cushions. Proper nutrition also plays a critical role in the healing process. Our dietitians work closely with our nurses and doctors to ensure every resident receives the diet they need.
